A vigorous and robust medium-sized cycad species from South Africa. The Encephalartos Arenarius has attractive mid-green foliage and green cones. It is a rare, fast-growing cycad that likes full sun but will adapt to part shade and is suitable for frost-free areas. It responds well to fertiliser and extra water.
