The Encephalartos Equatorialis is a spectacular, vigorous specimen cycad from a single relic population in Uganda. It has green cones and erect, glossy mid-green leaves. This cycad produces numerous offsets and cones within 8 years in South East Queensland. The Encephalartos Equatorialis is very rare – it is going extinct in nature and is unknown in cultivation.
